Pancake Breakfast

I know, neither of these pictures have anything to do with pancakes or breakfast, but it's the only thing that unites them. I took them for Day 166, right after the annual pancake breakfast downtown. I like the first one for the dark sky, and intense reflection on the side of the building. I didn't know a daylight picture could look like that. The second one i like because its metal, and it's a flower. It's like an oxymoron.

Spider

I took these in Minnesota, my cousins caught them, i love the detail. Took these with my cousins off-camera flash, which inspired me to get my own for my b-day. I had the idea to post this after seeing Steph's picture on her blog.

Lightning

These were taken on Day 160, the best thunderstorm i have seen in ages.... all 16 years of my life.

Moonrise

Tonight was forcasted to be a huge moon.... so i went out on the rock and got some pictures. It turned out that moonrise looked alot like sunrise, it was really amazing.

Car

These are two pictures of my car taken on the day i got my license, and a ladybug on our local peach tree.

Trippin' Across Kansas

Haha, I just realized how much that title makes me sound like a stoner. I'm not :)

anyway, these were taken at my Grandma's house, in the middle of Kansas, and in northern Colorado respectively. The cows are what my family and I call "oreo cows" and I'm sure you can spot why...

Gulls

This was taken at the same time as Day 143. I like it because of the two seagulls poses. It would make a good oil painting.
