Red Rolling Clouds

Yeah, well this is my first post in awhile over here. I'm glad i have this blog. it lets me keep all the extras i want to present to you guys separate from my 365 blog... anyway here is the video i promised for day 62:

I took 1165 Pictures today. Here are 54 of them. I my D80 on a tripod and took one picture every 2 seconds. It doesn't have a movie mode so i had to create the animation myself... Fun stuff. I contemplated putting only one up and having you imagine what the motion was like, but i didn't want to waste 1164 pictures. No, i do not know why it turned out red. the original pictures were blue. but it looks nice doesn't it?

Out-Take

I realized at 9PM last night that i didn't have a picture for the day, so i took about 100 pictures around the house trying to find something cool. This is one of the out-takes...

High Speed

These were all taken at 1/2000th of a second with the flash on with my HP R976. none are edited in anyway other than resizing. My favorite is the one of the Airsoft pellet in the water bottle I hope you like em! Oh, and please view full (*click* on them) to see them at their best!

Sunset

Tried again with the sunset tonight, result look a little better...although there seems to be a little light interference, almost like blooming...

I have always loved sunset photography, but i really haven't gotten into it much with my new d80. My Hp r976 had a great sunset preset but it tended to turn everything (including landscape) a little too orange.

The d80 has great saturation, so i decided to try it out on tonights sunset. i accidentally shot with ISO 3200 still set, so the shots are a little grainy. here are the results:
