Trippin' Across Kansas

Haha, I just realized how much that title makes me sound like a stoner. I'm not :)

anyway, these were taken at my Grandma's house, in the middle of Kansas, and in northern Colorado respectively. The cows are what my family and I call "oreo cows" and I'm sure you can spot why...

Gulls

This was taken at the same time as Day 143. I like it because of the two seagulls poses. It would make a good oil painting.

Summer fun!

Hello everyone. Just thought I'd tease you with my summer vacation!
Hehe ;)

I'm kinds sad I missed the car wash, but I think it was worth it for
the view I had today.

It picked up to about 70 degrees here in escanaba Michigan today. So
I've been out on the lake shore photographing seagulls. Its amazingly
scenic and peacful. And it remarkably resembles a corrona light
commercial :) The pic is of the view from here.

I havn't been able to update the blog lately due to the lack of wifi
at our cabin, but I promise on the second leg of my trip, when we'll
be in Minnesota I'll look through my multitude of pictures (about 10
Gb worth - so far) and post a few. I've taken about an average of
about 500 a day. Yesterday was a daytrip to mackinaw, the western
hemispheres longest suspention bridge, so I got about 800 pictures
around that area in northern Michigan.

I don't know how I'm going to sort through all of those, but it should
be fun. And yes, my memory cards are about to explode.

Dogs...

Haha, this is great. This was taken just moments after Sadie's perfect portrait for Day 133. Quite funny eh?

Fox Run

This was taken on Day 107 in Fox Run Park. I really like the glassy reflection of the pagoda. This was just after the fountain shut off at 7:30, which I really didn't expect, so i packed up after that. This was one of the pictures I took on the way out of the park.
